Of Light & Flight
The birds take flight.
The metal wings fly.
The light brings a new day.
The rays find the sky.
The beams, they dance.
Toward morning,
we continue.
Flights of freedom.
Flights of fancy.
Making light.
Seeking light.
The breeze makes light.
The petals seek the sun.
The birds take flight.
The metal wings fly.
The light brings a new day.

Held by Light was inspired by the “ghost ship” phenomenon, an optical illusion created when atmospheric conditions bend light, causing distant ships beyond the horizon to appear suspended in the air. It demonstrates that light can change not only what we see, but how we experience it.
