2026 Inaugural Adult Juried Art Exhibition
About the exhibition
The inaugural Adult Juried Exhibition invites regional adult artists and writers to submit original visual and literary work for a month-long exhibition celebrating creativity, craftsmanship, and community.

The Adult Juried Art Exhibition is a new annual opportunity for artists and writers to share original work with the community.
Artwork will be installed for public exhibition and featured during the reception and awards event.
This inaugural year aims to build a welcoming platform for both emerging and established creatives.
Eligibility
This exhibition is open to:
• Artists and writers age 18 or older
• Regional participants
• Both emerging and established creatives

Artwork Drop-Off: April 10–April 15, 2026
Exhibition On View: May 1–May 31, 2026
Reception & Awards: May 16, 2026 | 6–8 PM
Categories
Artists may submit work in the following categories:
Visual Art
• 2D artwork (painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, mixed media)
• 3D artwork (sculpture, ceramics, fiber, installation)
Literary Art
• Poetry
• Short fiction
Artists may submit up to three total works across any category.
Submission Requirements
All submitted work must be original.
Visual Artwork:
• 2D work must be ready to hang
• 3D work must be stable and safe for display
Literary Work:
• Submissions should be provided in either a typed digital format or physical copy
For each submission, artists must provide:
• Artist name
• Title of work
• Medium or category
• Estimated Dimensions or word count
• Contact information
Jury
Submissions will be reviewed by a jury panel including:

Valerie Quist
Works will be selected based on:
• Artistic quality
• Originality
• Presentation
Awards
Awards and prize categories will be announced during the exhibition reception.
Possible awards may include:
• Best in Show
• Visual Art Award
• Literary Award
• Honorable Mention
Entry Fee
There is no entry fee for the inaugural exhibition.
How to Submit
1. Complete the online registration form.
2. Submit information for each work you wish to enter (maximum of three).
3. Deliver your artwork during the drop-off window of April 10–15.
4. Selected works will be installed for exhibition in May.
